The Owl is created out of pebbles/stones that have been smoothed by the ocean waves, The face is a piece of a black walnut shell. The picture is also embellished with some pen and ink. The pebbles/stones are from Weakapaug , Rhode Island and the black walnut shell was washed up on the shores of Lake Ontario in Webster, NY.
